The responsible bit
How the attendance calculator works
Your current attendance is classes attended divided by total classes held. The useful part is planning forward: the calculator reverse-solves how many consecutive classes you must attend when below target, or how many future classes you can miss while staying at or above it.
Reading your result
Current percentage
The raw ratio of attended classes to classes held. This should match a simple portal total when every class has equal weight.
Safe bunks
The maximum whole number of upcoming classes you can miss while remaining at or above your selected target.
Recovery classes
The minimum consecutive classes you must attend to reach the target. Missing another class during recovery changes the number.
Next-class impact
A quick preview of your percentage after attending or missing the next class, useful when the margin is painfully small.

How is college attendance percentage calculated?
Divide the number of classes attended by the total classes held, then multiply by 100. For example, attending 60 out of 80 classes gives 75% attendance.
How many classes do I need to attend for 75% attendance?
If you are below 75%, solve (attended classes + future attended classes) divided by (total classes + future classes) being at least 0.75. The calculator performs this reverse calculation and rounds up to the next whole class.
How many classes can I miss while maintaining 75%?
When you are already above 75%, the calculator adds future missed classes until your projected attendance reaches the target. It reports only the whole number of classes you can miss without falling below the selected requirement.
Does the calculator work for 80% or 85% attendance?
Yes. Choose any included target from 65% through 90%. The safe-bunk and recovery calculations update immediately for the selected threshold.
Is this result official?
No. It is a mathematical estimate. Colleges may calculate labs, tutorials, medical leave, condonation, cancelled classes, and individual subjects differently. Always verify against your official student portal.
